KIA Information: He was last seen on the North bank of the Rhine when he had crossed the river, on the 24-09-1944.
There are a number of stories about him. It is said that he was taken prisoner, and later escaped, also that the Germans who captured him found out he was Jewish and murdered him. Or that he tried to swim back and drowned.
