KIA Information: Sapper Roherty was in the first boat, which sett off from the Driel side of the river Rhine at a
quarter to ten on the evening of 25-09-1944. On its way towards the north shore it was seen to receive a direct hit by a mortar bomb, and Sapper Roherty and three other crew members were killed
instantly.
