Lost Graves
It is known that on some locations graves were swept away by the Sea. They were not necessary graves on men who were killed when their plane crashed or ship sunk in Dutch waters, they were also killed at Dunkirk or on other locations, but their bodies washed up and where buried at the Dutch coast.

11-06-1940: Remains brough over from Boschplaat to Schiermonnikoog Cemetery.
31-07-1940: 12 bodies washed up and buried.
01-08-1940: 3 bodies washed up and buried.

HMT Myrtle (T91) was hoisting a magenetic mine aboard from their sweep in the Thames Estuary on the 14th June 1940 when it exploded killing all of the crew and sinking the vessel.
