Wilfred Thomas Jeavons was born in Coseley in the West Midlands.

 

 

Sergeant Jeavons landed on 18-09-1944 with Hamilcar Chalk 913.

He went missing on 25-09-1944, during the withdrawal of the 1st Airborne division on 25-09-1944, across the Rhine, his body washed up at Maurik on 20-10-1944 and buried in the local cemetery.
