My research about the Battalion and their part in the Arnhem Battle, started in March 1993, when I wrote to the Museum and received a reply by the then much helpful curator Major J. Carroll. In June 1995 I had written a small publication and send him a draft of it and asked to have a look at it and when he found it interesting enough to write a forward word for the final publication, not knowning that it took 26 years until it was finally published!
